Florida State took the field for its third practice of the fall on Thursday, sporting shells for the first time on a gloomy overcast day which saw a consistent drizzle throughout the session.

FSU remains extraordinarily healthy early in fall camp. The only player missing in action was freshman offensive lineman Brady Scott, who has yet to practice with the Seminoles.

The offense looked the same with Jacques Patrick working first for the running backs and Deondre Francois at the helm. There was a steady rotation of Cam Akers, Zaquandre White, Khalan Laborn, Amir Rasul and Ryan Green in the backfield as well.

The offensive line unit that worked first consisted of, from left to right, Derrick Kelly, Cole Minshew, Alec Eberle, Landon Dickerson, and Rick Leonard. The second unit that worked together was Brock Ruble, Ethan Frith, Baveon Johnson, David Robbins, and Josh Ball.

In pursuit drills, the first group consisted of Josh Sweat, Demarcus Christmas, Derrick Nnadi and Brian Burns on the line, Matthew Thomas, Ro’Derrick Hoskins and Jacob Pugh at linebacker, Levonta Taylor and Tarvarus McFadden at corner, and Trey Marshall along with Derwin James at safety.

Special Teams

Once again, Logan Tyler and Ricky Aguayo split field goal reps.

The next FSU practice that will be open to the media is slated for Saturday afternoon. This will be followed closely by Florida State Media Day/Fan Day on Sunday.
