A day after the Florida State football team took its first off day of fall camp on Monday, the Seminoles were back at it again on Tuesday afternoon.
For head coach Jimbo Fisher, who addressed the media after practice, however, it was like the team didn’t take an off day at all, picking up right where it left off at Sunday’s practice.
Fisher also reflected on the overall health of the team after a week of camp. Multiple players were back in action on Tuesday after missing some time. Among those were Josh Sweat, who had scheduled rest at Sunday’s open practice, and D.J. Matthews, who was back with the receivers in a limited capacity after pulling his hamstring last week.
Fisher also sang the praises of freshman wideout Tamorrion Terry, who impressed in Sunday’s open practice. Fisher said that Terry is picking it up quickly, no easy feat for a wide receiver in Fisher’s offense, and likes how athletic and fast Terry is. Only time will tell if Terry is able to break through and contribute at receiver in his first year.
