After Florida State football finished its practice on Tuesday, linebacker Ro’Derrick Hoskins spoke to the media.
Among things he talked about were when FSU plays three linebackers on defense and how that linebacker is able to come inside to defend the run.
He also spoke about how he thinks the defense can become what it was at the tail end of 2016 when the group turned it around.
“I think we got faster as everyone else started to play....We all ran to the ball and did what was asked of us.
Hoskins spoke very highly of defensive back Derwin James who also has the capability to play linebacker.
“When Derwin gets in the box, he can cover, he can attack the gaps and get to the ball, and at that money spot, that’s what you need.
Ro'Derrick Hoskins has high hopes for this year's Florida State Seminoles Football linebacker corps.Posted by TomahawkNation.com on Tuesday, August 8, 2017
