Update: FSU is ranked No. 11 in the new USA Today Poll. Wisconsin jumped the ’Noles.
In the AP Poll, Florida State falls to No. 12, after being passed by Georgia.
It was another Saturday without Florida State as the ’Noles had its game vs. Miami rescheduled due to Hurricane Irma. Even while idle, FSU could see its ranking in the AP and USA Today Coaches Poll change.
In the AP Poll, Florida State entered Week 3 ranked at No. 11. In the AP Top 25, no one ranked ahead of FSU was defeated. Behind the ’Noles, No. 12 LSU, No. 14 Louisville, No 18. Kansas State, No. 19 Stanford, No. 23 Tennessee and No. 25 UCLA were defeated. No. 13 Georgia and No. 15 Auburn both played non-P5 teams and should not jump FSU in the poll. Look for the Seminoles to retain their No. 11 ranking.
In the Week 3 USA Today Coaches Poll, FSU was ranked No. 10. On the back side of Florida State, No. 11 LSU, No. 14 Louisville, No. 18 Kansas State, No. 19 Stanford, and No. 23 Tennessee were losers. Florida State should stay ranked at No. 10 heading into its Week 4 game vs. NC State.
