Florida State favored by 12 over NC State

Florida State will return to the field after a two week absence this Saturday vs. NC State and will do so as 12 point favorites at various sportsbooks. The over/under is not yet available.

Hurricane Irma forced the cancellation of FSU’s home opener vs. ULM and the rescheduling of the Seminoles’ game vs. Miami to the teams’ bye week on October 7th.

Starting at quarterback for 0-1 Florida State will be true freshman QB James Blackman who has yet to take a snap in his collegiate career. On the other side, 2-1 NC State is coming off a victory over Furman. Its only loss came vs. South Carolina to open the season.

NC State is 0-3 against the spread in 2017 and each of its three games have hit the over. The latter is no surprise when looking at NC State’s average of 38 points per game this season, although, the Wolfpack has only played one Power Five team.

Against Alabama, Florida State did not cover the spread.
