First, there was Florida State’s season opener against Alabama. Every FSU fan knew the date, as well as the fact that it would feature a primetime kickoff. Then came a force even more imposing than the Crimson Tide: Hurricane Irma, which caused the cancellation of the Seminoles’ home opener against Louisiana-Monroe, as well as the rescheduling of FSU’s conference opener against Miami.
The only real “first” remaining for the 2017 ’Noles is their ACC road-opener, which will take place on Saturday, Septmeber 30, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. And now we know when. The Seminoles and the Demon Deacons will get things going at 3:30 pm from the Snuggy-friendly confines of BB&T Field.
As per the norm, Chardonnays and Merlots are strongly discouraged, but if you must insist on the former, an overly oakey vintage is not recommended. And Trevor, please remember a soft cheese this time. This isn’t Raleigh, after all.
