There’s plenty to count on when it comes to the Florida State vs. Miami football rivalry. Contentious fans. Electric atmospheres. Elite competition between former high school teammates. However, a good degree of uncertainty has also accompanied this year’s installment of the bitter matchup, due to the effects of Hurricane Irma.
The game was originally scheduled to be a primetime tilt in Tallahassee on September 16, but when that proved unrealistic because of Irma, the contest was postponed. October 7 became the new game date, when both the Seminoles and the Hurricanes had a bye week on their schedules. What wasn’t sure, however, was if it would remain a night game or if the kickoff time would be moved up.
That question has now been answered, as game time was recently announced as 3:30 PM EST. The FSU-Miami game will be broadcast on ABC or ESPN.
What do you think about this kickoff time?
