It’s been awhile, but after a 27-21 loss to NC State on Saturday, Florida State begins the season 0-2. At 1 PM on Monday, Jimbo Fisher will hold his weekly press conference.
It wasn’t just the game that FSU, but bodies as well. Matthew Thomas (back) and Auden Tate (shoulder) both left the game due to injuries and Jacob Pugh was ejected in the second half for a questionable targeting penalty. He will miss the first half of FSU’s next game at Wake Forest.
Florida State true freshman quarterback James Blackman made his debut vs. NC State and had a good showing. The Belle Glade, Fla. native went 22-38 for 278 yards and a touchdown. He was also sacked four times and had a fumble. There are still a lot of areas for Blackman to still improve in, however, his performance should only create more optimism.
Andrew Miller from Tomahawk Nation will be providing live coverage in the comments section below.
