Offensive lineman Cole Minshew began his interview talking about the struggles in the red zone by the offense. He put the blame on himself and the offensive line for those situations.
“Sometimes we just weren’t just getting it done. Sometimes it was because of communication stuff. But, I put that on (offensive line). When we get in that zone, that’s on us. We gotta do what we gotta do to score.”
Florida State will look to get back on track at Wake Forest on Saturday.
He also touched on his assessment of true quarterback James Blackman’s debut, saying he was very impressed by his showing.
The offensive lineman was also asked if the game vs. NC State was similar to UNC in 2016 in the fashion that the Seminoles underestimated its opponent. Minshew shot those claims down immediately and said it wasn’t the case.
