Florida State defensive back Derwin James started off talking about the importance of FSU’s game this upcoming Saturday at undefeated Wake Forest.
“It’s a big game right here. This is probably one of the biggest games. I feel like this is a very important game and a key game that we need to win.”
Florida State is off to a rocky 0-2 start to begin the season for the first time since 1989.
James then went on to talk about that very talented 4-0 Wake Forest team lead by a quarterback that has already faced FSU three times prior (albeit he threw just one pass attempt in 2015) and a very solid defense.
Speaking of Wake Forest’s starting QB John Wolford, James said that he looks like a whole new player.
“He looks way better, he looks more comfortable. The ball is coming out more fluid and faster and he knows where his receivers have to be at. Just watching him on film, he looks way more comfortable.
