Florida State Head Coach Jimbo Fisher addressed the media on Thursday evening, and in what has been a rather rare tendency so far in this young Seminole football season, he actually had some good injury news to relay. Specifically, Fisher indicated that while each are still considered day-to-day, receiver Auden Tate and linebacker Matthew Thomas returned to practice and will be available and expected to play at Wake Forest on Saturday.
Through two games, Tate leads the ’Noles with 179 receiving yards and has accounted for both touchdowns FSU has scored this season. Thomas is a redshirt-senior defender who led Florida State in tackles last season.
Fisher also stated that LB Dontavious Jackson practiced all week and could get back into the rotation against the Demon Deacons.
Included below is this week’s official injury report from FSU.
