Corey Clark, columnist for the Tallahassee Democrat, asks the question all Florida State fans are thinking right now: What if FSU can’t get this turned around?
And if FSU loses to Wake Forest this weekend or Miami the following Saturday or at Duke the weekend after that - Jimbo Fisher is going to be feeling angst like he's never felt before. Moreso than even after the Wake Forest loss in 2011 or the loss at N.C. State in 2012.
Because, again, FSU fans don't want to go through this again. They're wary of another steep decline.
Want to know what Jimbo Fisher said at his weekly call-in show Wednesday night? Danny Aller has the scoop.
On Wednesday’s ACC conference call, Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson had many overwhelmingly positive things to say about FSU.
Dave Clawson: “I don’t look at FSU’s OL as having issues. They’re really good. They went against 2 DLs that any OL would’ve had ups/downs.”

Clawson gushes about Cam Akers: "He's so fast. There are times on film when the defender has the angle on him and he just outruns them."

Clemson’s Dabo Swinney also got in on the praise for the Seminoles Wednesday.
Dabo: “Trust me, Florida State is as good as anybody out there, and that will probably be proven by the end of the season."

David Visser points out that the last time FSU started a season 0-2, it proceeded to go on a nearly unprecedented run over the remainder of its season. Can this year’s squad match that feat?
Recruiting
One Rivals recruiting reporter gave a strong assessment of FSU’s four-star cornerback commit Asante Samuel Jr. in his Over The Middle podcast Wednesday.

Alumni
After racking up two interceptions and three pass deflections in the Jets’ win over Miami on Sunday, FSU alum Terrance Brooks was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Dalvin Cook is off to one of the hottest starts to the 2017 NFL season of all running backs nationally. That three-cone drill, though.

While Cook is second among all running backs, Jalen Ramsey may be the best cornerback in the league through three weeks.

As the professional golf season winds down, our own Michael Rogner provides a look at how the FSU alumni on the PGA Tour have performed this season.
Speaking of, two former ‘Noles now in the professional ranks have been announced as a pairing for this weekend’s President’s Cup.

Other Sports
After allegations came crashing down around Louisville’s basketball program Wednesday, costing legendary head coach Rick Pitino his job, an investigation was also announced at one of FSU’s main rivals.
Miami has received official notice that it's under FBI investigation, per release.
