Florida State center Alec Eberle spoke about numerous topics after Saturday’s season-opening loss to Alabama.

When talking about the injury to redshirt sophomore freshman QB Deondre Francois, Alec Eberle was quick to respond, saying:

“It’s our fault....Unacceptable for him to be on the ground. We’re gonna work on it and we’re gonna fix it.”

On the team getting some tough breaks in the game, the redshirt junior said, “Sometimes, these things don’t go your way. Whether its a bad situation or not, sometimes things just don’t go your way. We need to do a better job of picking it up and making the best of the situation we’re in.”

The Florida State offense had 250 total yards and only 40 rushing yards. It was the fewest amount of rushing yards since the 2015 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl vs. Houston.
