Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher did something a little bit different on Saturday evening: he took to the postgame podium as a winner for the first time in 2017. That’s not a slam, it’s just a fact, as Hurricane Irma canceled one FSU game and postponed another. Fisher spoke to a number of topics while fielding questions, and his comments, which you can watch below, were not limited to the following:
- Errors. Fisher discusses the cost of penalties from the opening play, along with how they nullified other big chances for the Seminoles.
- The FSU Head Coach also broke down Auden Tate’s game-winning touchdown catch, along with his approach to time management that helped set it up.
- Fisher was mostly pleased with the performance turned in by the Florida State special teams.
- Confidence: Fisher could not say enough about how much it means for players, and how crucial Saturday’s win could prove moving forward in fostering it within this squad.
