It seems like Florida State safety Nate Andrews has been in the garnet and gold for a long time— because he has. The FSU graduate started as a true freshman on the 2013 national championship team and just exhausted his eligibility with the Seminoles following the 2017 season, due to a redshirt incurred because of injury along the way. But Andrews isn’t done representing Florida State just yet.
Andrews has been made a late addition to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, which will take place Saturday, January 27, at 2:30 PM and air on the NFL Network. The game will be played in Mobile, Alabama, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, which will be a short trip for Andrews’ family and friends, as he hails from Fairhope, Alabama, only about an hour’s drive away.
Originally, ’Nole defensive lineman Derrick Nnadi was supposed to take place in the Senior Bowl as well, but he withdrew due to an unspecified injury.
Roster update: @FSUFootball safety and Fairhope-native Nate Andrews has been added to the @seniorbowl. Will be #19 on the South. #SeniorBowl
