Football:

D.J. Matthews has been electric with the ball in his hands on special teams. But, is he the best punt returner in the country?

The latest episode of The Nolecast features an in-depth discussion regarding all aspects of Florida State’s performance against Miami.

After last week’s loss to the Hurricanes, ESPN.com has FSU rated as the 3rd-worst team in the Atlantic Coast Conference per their Power 5 conference power rankings.

CBSSports.com had the Seminoles on their list of Week 6 winners and losers.

The road ahead only gets more difficult for Florida State after the bye week. The new AP Poll was released on Monday, and 4 of FSU’s next 6 opponents are ranked in the Top 20. Notre Dame and Clemson are both ranked in the Top 5.

Following Jaiden Woodbey’s example, another freshman ’Nole, Amari Gainer, has registered to vote in the upcoming election.

Recruiting:

Expect head coach Willie Taggart and his staff to use a good portion of the bye week to focus on recruiting. He indicated as much during Monday night’s Willie Taggart Talk Show.

Alumni:

Brooks Koepka was named as the PGA Tour Player of the Year for the 2017- 2018 season.
