FSU football lists new offensive line starters on depth chart for Wake Forest

The carousel up front continues.

Another week, another shakeup along the offensive line on the Seminoles’ depth chart. Florida State’s latest depth chart, this one in preparation for the Demon Deacons’ visit to Tallahassee on Saturday, only includes changes at a single position group, and to no one’s surprise, that’s the banged-up OL.

The changes begin at the critical left tackle spot, which last week had Landon Dickerson as the starter and Juaun Williams as his backup. The injured Dickerson is now omitted form the depth chart entirely, replaced by Derrick Kelly II. Williams remains on the second line.

At left guard, Arthur Williams goes from a starter to a backup. He was listed ahead of Christian Armstrong last week, but is now resigned to the LG2 spot behind Cole Minshew.

Finally, the right guard position has solidified a bit more. Last week, Mike Arnold and Minshew were divided by the infamous depth-chart “or.” For Wake, Arnold is included as the clear first-line starter, with Minshew as his backup. If Minshew gets the nod at left guard, this makes total sense, as it’s quite difficult to start at two different positions at the same time, given the immutable laws of time and space.
