Stick with what works?

Shaking things up can certainly be a lot of fun. But familiarity often fosters a feeling of comfort, and the Tallahassee area could certainly use a shot of normalcy following the disruptive effects of Hurricane Michael.

So it’s fitting that Florida State will stick with a classic look when it hosts the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday afternoon. The Seminoles will go with a proven winner this weekend, sporting gold helmets, garnet jerseys, and gold pants.

This is a very important game for the bowl hopes of both FSU and Wake, the only two ACC squads to enter this weekend’s play with .500 records, as each are 3-3. The Deacs are searching for their first conference win of the season, having gone 0-2 in the ACC thus far. The ’Noles haven’t done much better, posting a 1-3 conference mark to date. Come Saturday in Tally, something simply has to give.
