Running back Cam Akers has had a rough start to this season, but he had his best performance of the year against Wake Forest. Akers spoke with Tomahawk Nation about what that means going forward for the rest of 2018.

FSU quarterback Deondre Francois offered up his thoughts on Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables and the Tiger defense, as a whole.

There have been some changes at running back and wide receiver in the team’s newest depth chart.

Francois and Brian Burns were major factors in Florida State’s decisive victory against Wake on Saturday. In recognition of this, both players were awarded as the ACC Players of the Week for their respective position groups.

We now know for a fact how the Seminoles will look (uniform-wise) against the Clemson Tigers this weekend.

In the latest episode of The Nolecast, Bud Elliott and Ingram Smith go over all aspects of FSU’s dominant victory over the Demon Deacons.

The Seminoles have started to show up again in more bowl projection articles after getting their 4th win of the season.

ESPN.com moved Florida State up 1 spot in their Week 8 P5 conference power rankings.

Over its next 5 games, the ’Noles will play 4 teams in the Top 25 of the newly-released AP poll. 3 of those teams are ranked in the Top 10.

Tuesday’s #FacesofFSUFootball featured freshman wide receiver Caleb Ward. The son of Seminole legend Charlie Ward is focused on “trying to make a name for himself” during his time in Tallahassee.

Recruiting:

Florida State extended an offer to 2020 4-star safety Darius Snow. Snow plays at Hebron High School in Carrollton, TX.

Alumni:

Saturday’s Sod Talk will feature Lonnie Pryor and Dexter Carter.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived Javien Elliott on Tuesday.

WR Travis Rudolph had a successful surgery and now begins the recovery and rehab process.
