Florida State vs. NC State opening betting line released

As you most definitely know, FSU didn’t exactly hang with Clemson, let alone cover the spread. The Seminoles will have to stay within a mere touchdown to cover against North Carolina State this Saturday, as the opening line from Las Vegas has the ’Noles as a 6.5 point underdog against the Wolfpack.

The real bad news— as if that was in short supply this season: the game will be played at NC State’s Carter-Finley Stadium, which has been a veritable crime scene for FSU hopes over the years. The Wolfpack having home-advantage gains them about 3 points, meaning Vegas sees them as a 3.5-point favorite on a neutral field.

NCSU started the season 6-0 before losing its last two games, both road contests, against Clemson and Syracuse. In that pair of contests, the Wolfpack has surrendered a combined 92 points. It’s struggling defensively, but exceptional QB Ryan Finley can still put points on the board.
