Back from the frigid temperatures of Notre Dame, Florida State will now close out its 2018 regular season at home, with games in Tallahassee coming up against Boston College and then Florida. And that BC contest will get going at 3:30 in the afternoon on Saturday.
After yesterday’s loss, the Seminoles actually have the same winning percentage against the Eagles that they now do against the Irish (66%). Leading the all-time series 10-5, FSU had defeated BC seven straight times prior to last season’s 35-3 embarrassment in Chestnut Hill, Mass, the most lopsided Boston College victory in series history.
Before a loss yesterday to Clemson, the Eagles (7-3) had been ranked No. 17 in both the College Football Playoff Rankings and the AP Poll.
At 4-6, the Seminoles need to win each of their last two games to extend their bowl streak, the longest in the nation, currently at 37 straight years.
