The Florida State Seminoles host the Boston College Eagles Saturday. The opening betting line on the game is the Seminoles as an underdog of one point.

The game is set to kick off at 3:30 and will be televised on ESPN2.

Florida State is coming off a loss against Notre Dame in which it failed to cover a spread of 16 points.

BC is coming off a loss against Clemson in which it failed to cover a spread of 17 points.

The over/under for the total points to be scored in the game is not available until later in the week.

Early lines are inherently volatile. They can swing on injury information or public perception. As such, the max bet size on these is very low early in the week. As the picture of the game becomes clearer, the maximum bet size will increase.

In this one specifically, BC QB Anthony Brown is “day-to-day” with an abdominal injury suffered against Clemson which required hospitalization. And the Eagles are more on FSU’s level than recent opponents.

Florida State’s record against the spread this season is 3-7.

This post will be updated to reflect line changes and additional wager options being released.
