Florida State football, recruiting news: Moving past Notre Dame and getting ready for Boston College

Football:

Offensive coordinator Walt Bell spoke to the media about the challenges of calling a balanced game when Florida State is down early. He also gave some insight on the team’s goal line struggles against Notre Dame.

The coaching staff has made a number of changes to the depth chart for the team’s game against Boston College.

The latest episode of The Nolecast features a short review of last week’s game against ND, and then Bud Elliott and Ingram Smith tackle a litany of listener-submitted questions.

ESPN.com has FSU listed as the 12th best team in the ACC in their latest P5 conference power rankings.

The school will be honoring the military during this week’s game against BC.

Recruiting:

The Seminoles have extended an offer to 2019 recruit Dawand Jones. The 6’8 360 lb offensive tackle from Indianapolis, IN also holds offers from the University of Southern California and Mississippi State.

2019 4-star cornerback Marcus Banks has scheduled an official visit to Tallahassee. Banks plays at Dekaney High School in Houston, TX and is the son of former Seminole lineman Bobby Meeks.

2019 FSU commit Quashon Fuller was in Gainesville last weekend to see the Gators pick up a victory against South Carolina. Fuller seemed to be impressed by the team’s resiliency.
