Five FSU players make 2018 All-ACC Football Team— but in the correct order?

Certainly room for debate here.

NCAA Football: Florida at Florida State Glenn Beil-USA TODAY Sports

A handful of Seminoles have earned all-conference honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference, including one obvious selection and a few others whose placement might come as some surprise.

Defensive end Brian Burns is the lone ’Nole first-team choice. Burns finished the season with ten sacks, good enough for ninth in the FBS and second in the ACC. There are no second-team honorees from Florida State, but receiver Nyqwan Murray and defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas made the third team. Earning Honorable Mentions were WR Tamorrion Terry and DT Marvin Wilson.

The obvious question: should Murray and Christmas be honored above Terry and Wilson?

Out wide, Murray and Terry tied for the FSU lead with 744 receiving yards, and while Murray had more catches (54-35), Terry was much more explosive, with eight touchdowns to Murray’s three.

Inside, Wilson edged Christmas in tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, quarterback hurries, and forced fumbles, and was just more consistently disruptive.
