It’s entirely possible that Saturday’s Florida State vs. Notre Dame game could see some snow. But it’ll play host to plenty of white, thanks to the Seminoles’ uniform choice. The ’Noles will rock white pants, white jerseys, and their traditional gold helmets.
Of course, this FSU look has some history when the Seminoles and Fighting Irish square off. In 2003, the last time Florida State visited Notre Dame (also in early November), the all-whites were the uniform of choice as well. The ’Noles left town with a 37-0 win. Now I’m not saying that wearing the same uniform combination will produce the same result, but...actually, that’s it. I’m totally not saying that.
The good news for FSU is that this is a sleek look that for once won’t somewhat resemble the home team’s colors, as was the case with the Louisville and NC State uniform decisions. On the other hand, white pants really show off grass stains on one’s backside.
