The biggest story of Monday’s news cycle was Walt Bell leaving Florida State to become the head coach at UMass. In addition to coverage by team-specific sites, the story was also picked up by national media outlets like ESPN and CBS Sports.
Noles247 put together a hot board of potential candidates to replace Bell as the new offensive coordinator for the Seminoles.
Bruce Feldman reports that one of those names is off the board.

Bell had a message for everyone at his former school on the way out.
I just want to say thank you to everyone in Tallahassee for treating us so well. There’s not a doubt in my mind that great things are in store for @CoachTaggart. With that being said, I can’t wait to get to work at #TheFlagship!
