Football

This is why they call it “Florida State family”. Running backs coach Donte Pimpleton and the rest of the staff took time to wish FSU great Odell Haggins a happy birthday. Have a great one, Coach, ya don’t look a day over 21.

In a new NFL Mock Draft by CBS Sports’ Will Brinson, Derwin James is projected to go as high as No. 9 to the San Francisco 49ers.

The NFL Combine is just around the corner, and Derwin James is featured in 2018 NFL Draft prop bets to see just how high he could be drafted.

Speaking of James, he took to social media to officially announce his signing with Adidas.

Recruiting

Florida State offered 4-star c/o 2019 safety Jalani Williams out of St. Louis (MO) Parkway North. Williams is the No. 20 safety in the class, the No. 6 prospect out of Missouri, and has offers from Louisville, Michigan State, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

Florida State has also offered 4-star c/o 2019 athlete Christian Harris out of Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab. Harris is one of the top athletes in the class, but the ’Noles will have their hands full, as he’s already named Alabama his leader.

FSU extended an offer to c/o 2021 offensive tackle Micah Morris out of Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County. Morris is already near the top of the class, and is set to become one of the nation's top prospects. He has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, and Georgia.

Alumni

If you didn’t already catch it, Jalen Ramsey performed an official takedown of ex-Florida State recruiter Tim Brewster.

And it looks like head coach Willie Taggart agreed with him...peep the retweet.
