FSU defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi is visiting the Seattle Seahawks ahead of the NFL Draft.
Sophomore receive Tamorrion Terry has been tearing up the field since his high school days, and reportedly hit a top speed of 21.92MPH to catch up with running back Khalan Laborn on this play on Saturday:
Tamorrion Terry (@TT1Batman) has been running people down since high school. As you can see the kid got Heart! Run down to force a fumble at the top in HS. Hits a reported top speed of 21.92 mph to set up a block for Laborn. #LetThatManReturnSomeKicks#NoleBlooded pic.twitter.com/YN63thv63P

SB Nation breaks down the top defensive backs in the country in Minkah Fitzpatrick and Derwin James, noting that both these players are the NFL’s modern DB:
“With Reshad Jones and T.J. McDonald, the Dolphins don’t necessarily need a safety. However, James is much more than just a single-position player. Miami can play James as a slot corner, as a roving linebacker and even as an edge rusher.James may get listed as a safety or a linebacker on an NFL team’s depth chart, but when he actually hits the field on Sundays pay attention to where he lines up. He’ll be everywhere.”
Although the 2017 season was, well what it was, FSU’s defense still showed some resistance:
Stat of the Day: FSU defense allowed 4.72 yards/play on first down last year — the best rate in the ACC and 8th-best nationally.

A quick observation from the Seminoles QB’s performances this past weekend:
Stat a reader had us look up
— Tomahawk Nation (@Tomahawknation) April 17, 2018
Stat looked up today:
18 of Blackman's 32 passes were to walk-ons, and 1 was to a DE (Brian Burns).
21 of Hockman's 21 were to scholarship players.
(According to FSU's stat book)
Hockman had a great game, but who you throw to matters as well.
