FSU football reveals bold uniforms for 2018 spring game

Look good, feel good.

Florida State football is turning back the clock for its annual spring game. The ’Noles will play on a field including throw-back end zones, under the old Spirit Spear replicated on the scoreboard, and prior to a post-game concert featuring 90s legends Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa, and Rob Base.

But the Seminoles’ attire could also be considered an example of going back to the future; there’s been talk of FSU utilizing more atypical uniform combinations, and that’ll get going for the spring contest. Per a recent social media release from Florida State football, the ’Noles will divide into one squad wearing all white, while another will be clad in all garnet.

Neither look is brand new, of course. The Seminoles last game, an Independence Bowl win over Southern Miss, saw them sport the all garnets. You have to go back a bit farther to recount the last time FSU wore all white: a victory against Oklahoma State to open the 2014 campaign.
