No one is sure as to when Florida State safety Derwin James will be selected in the 2018 NFL Draft later this month, nor where the Haines City (Fla.) native will begin his professional career. But we do now know where James will be when he finds out the answers to each of those questions— and typical of James, it’s right in the middle of the action.
James took to Instagram today to post an announcement that he will, in fact, be attending the Draft, which will be held in Dallas from April 26-28. James began his collegiate career at FSU in 2015 after a long commitment to the Seminoles that he made as a freshman in high school and from which he never wavered. He missed most of 2016 with a knee injury but returned in 2017 to finish his career. James is expected to be a top-10 selection.
