It’s an old adage regarding athletic gear and performance: “look good, feel good— feel good, play good.” And even if the grammarian in me insists that the preceding quotation should conclude “play well,” the point persists: an athlete’s internal and external composition can often exist in a symbiotic relationship.
But that’s really just a somewhat fancy way of saying that uniform talk is fun, and it’s the offseason for two of the big three Florida State sports, so we may as well have at it. Up next on the runway: some tight cleats recently posted to ’Nole defensive back Levonta Taylor’s Twitter feed.
Now, normally, uniform discussion provides for fantastic, if not fanatical debate, often fueled by arguments over logos and shades of garnet. But in this case, it’s hard to imagine that a ton of dissension really exists. Because let’s be honest: these kicks are just straight fresh, folks.
