By the end of Jimbo Fisher’s tenure as Florida State’s head football coach, you hardly had to listen to his answers to know how he’d respond to questions. His cliches ran together like a predictable tapestry of familiar soundbites, a vocal microcosm of how stale his program had become.
The same certainly can’t be said for new head coach Willie Taggart at present. Taggart has infused new life into the Seminoles, and it’s not lost on junior running back Amir Rasul. Rasul (5’11, 205) is a speedster from Miami who could do some serious damage with the ball in space this year, and today he spoke highly of how Taggart has shaken things up. Specifically, Rasul addresses the benefit of FSU hitting the road to practice at IMG Academy, as well as how the new staff varies practices to prevent monotony.
