Florida State offensive coordinator Walt Bell press conference updates

Live updates from Bell’s first major media availability

With the start of fall practice just one day away, Florida State is kicking things off by making its head coach, offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator available on Sunday, August 5 at 4 p.m. to the media.

It’s a bit of a change of pace from the prior regime, as assistants typically were only available prior to the season at Media Days and following it during bowl availability. With changes in how open Florida State practice is going to be already put into place, it’s possible that it could become the norm throughout the rest of the season.

Walt Bell, hired by Willie Taggart by way of Maryland, will get some major facetime at the podium for the first time since he came on board in January.

A bit of background on Bell:

Bell is a flexible, versatile coach who has worked all over the offensive side of the ball. He seems to fit well with Taggart’s proclivity for going fast and scoring quickly, as the latter stated in his opening press conference as a Seminole.

Courteney Korosec from Tomahawk Nation will be providing live updates in the comments section below.

Alternatively, you can watch the presser live on Seminoles.com.
