The Florida State Seminoles travel to the Miami Hurricanes Saturday. The opening betting line on the game is the Seminoles as an underdog of 11 points. The line has already been bet up to 13.5 in some places, and could climb higher.
The game is set to kick off at 3:30 and will be televised.
Florida State is coming off a win/ against Louisville in which it failed to cover a spread of five points.
Miami is coming off a win against UNC in which it covered a spread of 18 points.
The over/under for the total points to be scored in the game is not available until later in the week.
Early lines are inherently volatile. They can swing on injury information or public perception. As such, the max bet size on these is very low early in the week. As the picture of the game becomes clearer, the maximum bet size will increase.
Florida State’s record against the spread this season is 1-3 (1-4 if counting the line against FCS Samford, which is not as widely available.
