Belief. It’s not a quantifiable statistic that will show up in any box score, but it’s most certainly a living, breathing entity that exists among any football team. At times, it’s been debatable just how deeply that belief has run among the members of the FSU defense, but according to one of its leaders, the feeling of belief is alive and well with the garnet and gold.
After Florida State’s comeback victory over Louisville, ’Nole linebacker Dontavious Jackson addressed the media, and had more than a few words about just how much the FSU defense believes in itself. Moreover, Jackson spoke to the future, with regard to what Florida State can take forward after a clutch road win against the Cardinals. He mentions momentum and swagger, and the Seminoles will need all that they can muster, as a road trip to rival Miami looms next Saturday. Included below is Jackson’s interview:
