Last weekend, Alec Eberle represented Florida State football in the annual East-West Shrine Game, and today, defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas will sport the spear on his helmet for the final time in game action during the Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Christmas (6’4, 305), from Sarasota, Florida, had a productive career as a ’Nole, serving as a powerful member of the defensive front. He contributed 105 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 13 pass breakups, 3 quarterback hurries, and a blocked kick.

The Senior Bowl will kickoff at 2:30 ET from Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL. NFL Network will broadcast the event, which divides players into teams from the North and the South. FSU has a rich history with this all-star game, which was first played in 1950. Four Seminoles have captured MVP honors: Kim Hammond in 1968, Derrick Brooks in 1995, Christian Ponder in 2011, and E.J. Manuel in 2013.
