Florida State football, recruiting news: Some of the ’Noles most important 2019 recruits enrolled early

Football:

So Vegas is saying there’s a chance? The Seminoles are getting early top-25 National Championship odds.

ICYMI, the Clemson Tigers and true freshman Trevor Lawrence handled Alabama and Nick Saban with ease last night handing the Tide their largest loss since the Music City Bowl in 1998. The Seminoles will have to face Lawrence for at least two more seasons.

Recruiting:

The ’Noles have offered 2020 4-star Safety Vito Tisdale. Tisdale is from Bowling Green, Kentucky and has offers from other colleges including Oklahoma and Louisville.

2019 5-star commit DB Akeem Dent is finally “home” in Tallahassee. Classes for the spring semester have officially started and the early enrollees are trickling onto the Florida State campus.

Basketball:

The Seminoles drop in all three of the latest basketball rankings.

Alumni:

The accolade is long overdue, but Florida State football legend Terrell Buckley is named to the College Football Hall of Fame.
