Football:
Quarterback Deondre Francois has enrolled in spring classes and is still a member of the Florida State football team per 247Sports and confirmed by an FSU spokesperson. It was first reported in December that Francois was leaving the team, but the player later refuted that report on Twitter.
Although Francois is still a member of the Seminoles, for now, a grad transfer could still be in play over the summer. If not, FSU will return a player that started at QB for nearly all of the 2018 season.
Did Clemson defender Clelin Ferrell take a shot at Willie Taggart on Monday night? Our own Perry Kostidakis explains why that wasn’t the case.
Unless Clelin Ferrell was going mega-deep by using a Suge Knight speech to reference alleged recipient of a Suge balcony-dangling and Florida State spring game performer Vanilla Ice, it’s probably pretty safe to just take this one at face value. https://t.co/klyESwgDmA

However, the Tigers did accomplish something that hadn’t been done in 5 years.
Clemson is the first undefeated national champion since Florida State in 2013, the year before the College Football Playoff was instituted (not counting 2017 UCF, of course).

DailyPress.com writer David Teel argues that the only possible challengers to 2018 Clemson’s throne as the best team in ACC football history are 1999 and 2013 FSU.
Looks like a former ’Nole quarterback may be getting a fresh start out West.
Scoop: Nevada has added ex-Florida State QB Malik Henry, one of the stars of Netflix's @LastChanceU. Henry was the No. 17 prospect in the 2016 class. https://t.co/anLhauQN2i

Other Sports:
The No. 13 ranked Florida State men’s basketball team will take on in-state rivals the University of Miami Hurricanes tonight at 9 pm EST. This home game will be the team’s first action since their loss to Virginia over the weekend.
Alumni:
CBSSports.com’s Kyle Porter has former ’Nole Brooks Koepka as one of his top American golfers under the age of 30.
I tried to rank the top eight Americans under age 30 right now. They separate nicely into three tiers, but within those tiers it's messy. https://t.co/LXkPpLAgnz

Malik Beasley made his 2nd career start for the Denver Nuggets last night.
The #Nuggets are starting Malik Beasley for Gary Harris tonight.
— T.J. McBride (@TJMcBrideNBA) January 9, 2019
Starters for Denver are:
Jamal Murray
Malik Beasley
Torrey Craig
Paul Millsap
Nikola Jokic
Malik Beasley’s only other start in his career came on April 12, 2017 in Oklahoma City against the #Thunder.
— Brandon Ewing (@B_Skip17) January 9, 2019
In that game, Beasley scored 17 points (a career high at the time) and helped lead the #Nuggets to victory.
Denver is hoping for more of the same tonight.
