It’s officially Miami week and Willie Taggart will host FSU’s weekly press conference at 12 noon today after the Florida State Seminoles (4-4, 3-3 in ACC) put together a dominant performance over the Syracuse Orange for FSU’s homecoming. The ’Noles will prepare to face their in-state rival the Miami Hurricanes (4-4, 2-3 ACC). The Hurricanes just upset Pitt on the road, 16-12 and the Seminoles opened as a single-digit favorite.
Florida State will take on Miami at 3:30 p.m. and the contest will be broadcast ABC. Both teams enter the contest with a .500 winning percentage. In 2018, the Seminoles blew a 20-point, third quarter lead on the road that featured the controversial non-lateral/lateral play that ultimately led to Florida State losing, 28-27
Both teams have multiple frustrating one-possession losses this year and historically the match-up will follow suit.
