Demon Deacons fans will be turning to their Snuggies for function as well as form when Wake Forest hosts Florida State on October 19. Not only is the calendar working farther into fall, but the sun will be down as well.
Another week, another night game for the Seminoles, as today brought the announcement that the ’Noles and Deacs will get things going at 7:30 pm from BB&T Field in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is nothing new for FSU: after seven games this season (through the Wake Forest trip), four will have begun at or after 5 pm, with 7:30 the most common kickoff time for Florida State in 2019 so far.
The Seminoles have been quite successful against WF, owning a 30-6-1 advantage over the Demon Deacons. Their last loss to Wake came in Winston-Salem in 2011, when the Deacs triumphed by a final score of 35-30 in Jimbo Fisher’s second season in charge of FSU.
