Florida State readies itself for Alabama State, which should entail not sleeping in.

Oline0175:

Alabama State... that is about all that needs to be said here. I expect a very quick game that is over before it starts. FSU gets to play a lot of its roster on Senior Day.

Trey Rowland:

Well folks, we got ourselves a mismatch! Unlike last week, when I was having a tough time finding a comparison for FSU’s unique situation, mismatches have been commonplace in MMA for years.

One of my favorites involved a fight between PRIDE Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko and Wagner da Conceicao Martins, more affectionately known as Zuluzinho.

Emelianenko vs. Zuluzinho was an entertaining trainwreck, and that’s what I fully expect to happen this weekend when the ’Noles meet Alabama State.

I, for one, welcome Jordan Travis as our new overlord. FSU should hang at least a 50 spot and start a new bowl eligibility streak.

FSU 56, Alabama State 12

Austin DeWitt:

We get to see Cam Akers in Doak one last time, so why not send him out in style? FSU wins this one by a lot, and here’s hoping Akers breaks some more school records on Saturday afternoon. Maybe even the single-game rushing touchdown record that would’ve belonged solely to him if he didn’t get banged up at the end of the Syracuse game.

I’m also looking forward to seeing a healthy dose of Jordan Travis.

This is our last game of the year, right? See y’all at the bowl game.

Florida State 63, Alabama State 3

Perry Kostidakis:

Wouldn’t it be nice to kick back and watch a good ol’ fashioned blowout? FSU, contrary to feelings a few weeks ago, is on the verge of bowl eligibility and just needs a win against an opponent that SP+ says its 44 points better than.

With relatively no pressure (other than, you know, making it to the postseason), Florida State should be able to cut loose and have fun in its home finale. Really, outside of a win, my true hope is to see a Cam Akers passing touchdown, and for him to be one of four different players throwing a touchdown Saturday.

Florida State 52, Alabama State 10

LastNoleOfKrypton:

Keith Gavin scores a TD on Senior Day as FSU gets back to bowl eligibility following a brief reprieve from postseason play.

Jon Marchant:

FSU eleventy billion - 1 Alabama St

David Visser:

After another trying year for FSU fans, they get a nice reprieve on Saturday with an easy win against an overmatched opponent. Florida State gets back to bowl eligibility, Seminole seniors get their due, and Alabama State gets a nice payday.
