Football:
FSU’s new head coach finds himself in some elite company as a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award:

& Dabo Swinney, Clemson.
Norvell kept it classy, penning a letter to the Tiger’s faithful thanking them for his time in Memphis. One thing of note for FSU fans in the letter is that Norvell will not coach Memphis in the Cotton Bowl.
In case you missed it, Norvell’s staff is already starting to take shape with the reported hiring of an offensive coordinator and the announcement that Odell Haggins will be retained.
Keeping with the theme of possible staff, Norvell’s former offensive line coach Ryan Silverfield, who is a target for FSU, is gaining popularity to fill Memphis’ head coaching vacancy:
Ryan Silverfield's candidacy at #Memphis for getting the head coaching job gaining traction. He has all the support from current team, recruiting class & former players. No one has entered the portal, no decommits. He's also turned down other jobs every year to stay there.

Not only was Florida State the best team throughout the 90’s, they put up the highest win percentage of any team, in any decade, ever:

The FSU defense will no longer have to worry about BC’s AJ Dillion with the All-ACC back entering the NFL Draft:
#BC RB AJ Dillon has elected to forego his senior season and enter the 2020 NFL Draft. Dillon will not play in BC’s bowl game versus #Cincinnati on January 2 in Birmingham, Ala.
