Mike Norvell hired his coordinators this past week and the two will meet with the FSU media for the first time today at noon. Kenny Dillingham left Auburn and Gus Malzahn to coach the offensive side of the ball while Adam Fuller followed Norvell from Memphis to replace Harlon Barnett as defensive coordinator. Both new coordinators were in Tallahassee this weekend, helping with a big recruiting weekend heading into early signing day.
Dillingham ran the Tigers offense under Gus Malzahn this season, but before that, he’d been with Norvell at both Arizona State and then Memphis. Norvell will call plays, so Dillingham will be able to define his role in this offense at the presser. Having already done this at Memphis with Norvell, it should be a smooth transition to Tallahassee for the 29-year old.
Fuller joined the Memphis Tigers staff prior to the 2019 season after spending the previous six seasons with the Marshall Thundering Herd. Before that he was the defensive coordinator for the Chattanooga Mocs. Fuller has a proven track record as his defenses finished outside the top-35 just once in his six seasons as a defensive coordinator.
We will have updates in the comment section below during the noon press conferences.
