Phil Steele is a respected national football analyst, and he’s been known to be rather high on FSU squads. And this preseason is no exception. Steele has 12 ’Noles on either his preseason All-America or All-ACC teams.
Defensive tackle Marvin Wilson leads the way. Steele has Wilson as a second-team All-American for 2019, the only Seminole on any of his All-America squads. However, Florida State is very well represented on Steele’s All-ACC teams. Here’s which FSU players made the cut:
All-ACC First Team
- DT Marvin Wilson
All-ACC Second Team
- WR Tamorrion Terry
- LB Dontavious Jackson
- LB Hamsah Nasirildeen
- DB Jaiden Lars-Woodbey
All-ACC Third Team
- RB Cam Akers
All-ACC Fourth Team
- QB James Blackman
- WR D.J. Matthews
- TE Tre’ McKitty
- DE Joshua Kaindoh
- DE Janarius Robinson
- DB Asante Samuel, Jr.
So, is anyone here ranked too highly? How about omissions? Are there any Seminoles who were slighted and should have been included?
