After a disappointing 2018 season, Florida State football will look to rejoin the upper ranks of the ACC this year— and they’ll reintroduce themselves to the conference with two rising stars in Charlotte.

ACC Kickoff will take place July 17-18, and FSU’s ambassadors will be receiver Tamorrion Terry and defensive tackle Marvin Wilson, along with head coach Willie Taggart. After inexplicably redshirting in 2017, Terry was a revelation last season for the ’Noles, co-leading the team with 744 receiving yards and registering more than twice as many touchdown catches as any other Seminole, with eight.

Like Terry, Wilson signed with Florida State as part of its 2017 recruiting class, playing in 11 games as a freshman but really bursting onto the scene last season. After contributing 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in 2018, he’s earned preseason All-America honors heading into the 2019. Both Terry and Wilson are expected to compete for all-conference accolades. Last year, Taggart was accompanied by running back Cam Akers and edge defender Brian Burns.
