Updates from Willie Taggart’s press conference to open 2019 FSU fall football camp

Here we go.

Florida State head coach Willie Taggart hosting a press conference the day before fall camp begins is a little like getting to open one present on Christmas Eve. It’s not the main event, but it’ll do. As long as it’s not socks.

I don’t know exactly what the socks part means, but whatever, it’s been a long summer.

Taggart will address the collected media today at about 4 pm in Tallahassee. While there’s never a program delineating which topics will be broached, we’ll probably hear about where the quarterback competition stands entering fall camp, the status of Jordan Travis’ waiver, the progress made by new coaches, especially offensive coordinator Kendal Briles, the defense’s possible move to more of a 3-4 look, and various injury concerns, as well as several other topics.

We’ll keep this piece updated with real-time updates in the comments section, so be sure to check back often and join in the conversation.
