Florida State football, recruiting news: FSU defensive tackle medically retires

And the Seminoles wrap up their first day at IMG Academy.

Football:

Unfortunate news came down from Willie Taggart, revealing that Ja’len Parks has been medically disqualified due to an ankle injury that caused him to miss all of last year. Parks remains enrolled and will finish his degree at FSU on scholarship.

FSU CB recruit Demorie Tate continues to climb up recruiting boards. He’s currently in the top 100 of both Rivals and 247Sports’ top 100, coming in at no. 66 and no. 48 respectively.

Sports Illustrated ranked the best college football helmet in history and FSU makes an appearance, although their ranking is a bit low for me. (Oregon is too high)

Florida State wrapped up the first practice of their trip to IMG Academy. FSU is currently in the second year of a two-year deal to hold satellite practices on the IMG campus.
