Willie Taggart will host Florida State’s weekly press conference this afternoon following the Seminoles’ loss to the Virginia Cavaliers, 31-24 in frustrating fashion on the road. Florida State is preparing to host the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday for its conference home opener. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
Hopefully, the media will get an injury update on Joshua Kaindoh after he suffered a lower-leg injury and left the game against Virginia. On the bright side, the Seminoles defense looked significantly better for three quarters with the addition of defensive analyst Jim Leavitt to the staff.
The Cards’ are currently 2-1, but the contest in Tallahassee marks Louisville’s first game in conference play and the Seminoles opened as the favorite. In case you missed it, Louisville played without starting quarterback Jawon Pass against Western Kentucky and he is currently listed as questionable. Florida State will have to prepare for both Pass and backup sophomore quarterback Malik Cunningham.
Stay tuned, as we provide updates in the comments section below.
