Updates from Willie Taggart’s press conference to open FSU vs. Louisiana-Monroe week

Labor Day affords a lot of people the day off— but Willie Taggart and the Florida State Seminoles football team are not part of that group getting a break. After a tough opening day loss to Boise State to begin the 2019 season, the Seminoles are right back at it today, and that includes Taggart addressing members of the media in his weekly press conference.

Taggart will put the disappointment vs. the Broncos to bed, as well as providing updates on any injuries sustained in that game. He’ll also take a look forward to FSU’s next opponent: the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

One of the more interesting facets of Monday pressers is the fact that, unlike the coach’s address right after Saturday’s game, this conversation takes place after the coaches have had a chance to watch film of the game. This week’s presser could be especially interesting in that regard, since the ’Noles played so many young guys vs. Boise State— we’ll have to see if any stood out.
