Starting FSU defender Jaiden Lars-Woodbey to miss rest of 2019 season

Another tough loss.

On Monday, Willie Taggart made official what looked painfully obvious on Saturday: outside linebacker Jaiden Lars-Woodbey will miss the rest of the 2019 football season with a leg injury.

Lars-Woodbey has been all over the place for the ’Noles. A safety by trade, last year, he performed well while starting at the star position as a true freshman. This season, he was moved inside to begin, where he often struggled taking on the blocks of interior linemen, but he was flipped with Leonard Warner for the Louisville game and looked much more at home playing in space on the outside. Through four games, Lars-Woodbey was fifth on the team with 19 tackles. He also had a PBU, a TFL, and half a sack.

This of course comes just a week after FSU lost edge rusher Joshua Kaindoh for the season as well. We’ll have to see how the ’Noles go about replacing JLW.
